The Bulletin

The F.I.S.A. Bulletin was the quarterly bulletin, edited by F.I.S.A. during many years. It was our long time board member the late Alex Newall who was in charge of this printed magazine for many years.

The latest printed bulletins can be seen in the archives of the Bulletin, which we hope to complete in the next few years.

The latest news is now published on the website as far as clubs send us the news to be published. Just have a look at the  news release and send us your news to be published.

Meanwhile, F.I.S.A. will start a new type of Bulletin, printed and send to our member societes as well as published on the website as a (.pdf) file that can easily be printed from the web.

25-04-2010 Astrophilately - Bachmann collection in auction sale

A Large-Gold collection in astrophilately will be on sale on June 3rd, 2010.

Mrs. Beatrice Bachmann, former President of the Astro Commission in F.I.P. and Large-Gold Medal winner wants to stop her collection and will bring it on auction sale in June 2010.

I recommend every collector, young and old, aerophilatelist or astrophilatelist, to have a good look at this wonderful collection. I had the honour to take a look at it during some Exhibition shows and was always astonished by the exclusive material Mrs. Bachmann has collected during al these years.

The collection is on sale at Rapp Auktionen in Switzerland. Visit the site, go to the item VORSCHAU at the left column and go downwards to Astrophilately, the Bachmann collection.
The collection can be viewed as a book, the complete 128 pages !

Take a look at this collection before it will probably disappear in some investor's bank safe !

F.I.S.A. had a Board Meeting in Berlin on Saturday April 24th, in order to prepare the 45th Congress and General Meeting which will take place in Berlin in 2011.
