The F.I.S.A. represents 26 major aerophilatelic (18) and astrophilatelic (8) societies in 15 countries worldwide, representing more than 2.500 collectors, and has contact on regular base with these clubs. Most clubs provide a magazine and the cover and content of each bulletin is available simply by clicking the cover of the magazine.

International Digital Membership

FISA aims to facilitate the development of international links between FISA-affiliated aero- and astrophilatelic societies.
FISA supports the International Digital Membership project (I.D.M.), which will give members of any FISA affiliated society the opportunity to join another FISA affiliated society easily and at a low cost, and thus gain access to the digital services offered by other FISA affiliated societies.
The benefits are the development of communication between philatelists and the simplicity of a membership with simple/single payment.

What is I.D.M. ?
  • Develop international links between FISA affiliated aero- and astrophilatelic societies
  • Full access to the websites
  • Receive the bulletins (digital)
  • Participation to Zoom meetings
  • Participation to auctions/sales (buy or sell)
Key principles
  • Offer to national members of association A [ Including members of countries without FISA affiliated association (e.g. Romania, ….) ] the possibility to have access to the digital services offered by associations B, C….
  • Possible by the option “International Digital Membership” I.D.M.-fee
  • I.D.M-fee has been set at 8 €/$ for up to THREE selected societies (association B, C,….)
  • I.D.M-fees are collected by association A together, with the fees for association A (= single fee payment)
  • Association A communicates the list (name, email) of members having selected the I.D.M. option to association B, C….
  • Associations B, C… offer the equivalent options to their national members
Benefits
  • Establish relations and fruitful communication among aero- and astrophilatelists
  • Single payment means simplicity for members
  • Simple fee collection
Economics
  • Each society keeps the extra fees collected
  • A review of financial impact will be conducted end of 2025 (additional IDM fees collected by association A = X, versus loss of fees = Y currently paid by international members of association A)
  • We expect X to be greater than Y, so that I.D.M. will be profitable for all FISA member associations.
